Well, it’s been a while since my last post, but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been busy.

One thing that’s changing, starting today, is the frequency of posts.  I have found that with the demands of this business, plus my other landscaping business, plus life in general, has thrown me for a loop.  You probably know.  You too probably have your ups and downs too.

Although my last few weeks have been mostly up, I’ve realized there are only 24 hours in the day.  A major home renovation project has taken my time, but even though the IM business has not slowed down, my postings here have.  THEREFORE…

I am committing right here, right now, to post updates at least 3x per week, more when things are happening that need to be reported.  That being said, let’s move on.

My latest Case Study, the JV Launch has taken quite a bit of my time.  Launching a product is one of the most satisfying things about internet marketing and list building, and working with Lee Murray on this launch has been truly amazing.  However, exciting things have been happening lately.

Since my last update, which you can read  HERE, a lot of work is happening to get ready for my JV launch on 3/15.
This new project/case study has taken priority over all other tasks for the moment.

One thing you MUST be when working for yourself is flexible.  Extremely flexible.  This new case study is a good side road to take for me – one that will lead to the pot-0-gold, per say – at least an excellent way to start 2017 and a jump start ahead.

Regardless of industry, sales is about approaching complete strangers and, shortly after meeting them, asking them for money. There may be not better test of whether people trust you. Sales skills are people skills. After more than 10 years of sales, I had an experience that I never dreamed of could happen when I started working in sales.

I started a routine sales call with a potential client (whom I reached out to with a cold email just the week before). He was head of marketing at a hot consumer startup. After the routine pleasantries, he announced that he talked to dozens of marketing companies, and they had passed on them since the internal marketing team were doing a great job growing the brand. He said he didn’t really think that we had much unique to offer and that it was pretty unlikely they would try us out, but he’d give us a few minutes of time. It’s not uncommon for sales calls to start out with a healthy degree of skepticism, but what happened next is uncommon.

I have some very exciting news I want to share with you today.  It’s something I’ve been holding back until the time was right.  It’s been hard though to not spill the beans.
