Post 8 – 2017 Goal Setting

goal setting for internet marketingJoke:

I’ve given up social media for the New Year and am trying to make friends outside Facebook while applying the same principles.

Every day, I walk down the street and tell passersby what I’ve eaten, how I feel, what I did the night before, and what I will do tomorrow. Then I give them pictures of my family, my dog, and me gardening. I also listen to their conversations and tell them I love them. And it works.

I already have three people following me—two police officers and a psychiatrist.

2017 IS HERE… WOW!  Where did last year go!

This year is gonna be my year and you, my friend, can follow along and see what’s possible for you!

My 2nd case study, building my list to 5K in one month is a pretty lofty goal, but I’m gonna do it.

The first thing I need to do it set up my action plan, so I’m doing that today and tomorrow.
Here’s what I’m doing…

I use Evernote to create my internet marketing plans and notes, and I’m doing that for this case study.  I find Evernote is a great program and best of all,  it’s free.   Not only does it allow you to create notes on anything and everything, but you can also create notebooks to organize them, plus your notes can have check boxes!

This is fantastic when you want to track your progress.  Just check off your action plan steps once you complete them.

Check out Evernote HERE.  They do have a paid version, but I don’t use it and I’m not sure it’s worth it.  Try the free version first. No need to pay for something you don’t need.

So, once my action plan is competed, I’m gonna post it here so you can see what I intend to do to build my list to 5K in 1 month.

As a side note, in my first case study, “The Bonus Spot” (read about it HERE) I’m also building another buyers list.  This list is separate from the one I’m building in Case Study #2.  As a matter of fact, there’s gonna be several lists, each segmented by interest.

IMO, this is the best way to build your business.  When you create lists, separate people based on their interests. In this way, you can email them offers that are relevant to them, which means your conversions will be better.

How do you do this?

Simple.  I will be sending traffic to multiple offers to build my list (some have yet to be determined) and each offer will have it’s own list.

For instance, if one offer is for a free ebook on how to create sales funnels, and another offer is for a free ebook on the best traffic methods, people that opt-in for each offer will be added to a separate list.

That way I send send emails and offers about getting traffic to one set of people, while sending stuff about sales funnels to another set of people.

Get it?

This is what you should be doing if you wanna make the most of your lists and really be relevant!

Watch for my next post to see my action plan!
